If you want to create a cozy bedroom then the trick is layering and textures. You want to just feel like falling into a big hug which means gorgeous duvets and comforters on the bed and different textures in the room.
If you succeed in creating a really cozy bedroom you'll end up not wanting to ever leave! The Danish have a special word for the cozy feeling a home can have and it's hygee. If you have been reading any home decor articles online or off the chances are you've heard of this expression.

Seven Tips for a Cozy Bedroom
Let's look at seven simple ways in which you can create a cozy bedroom that really says Hygee!
- Stuff your comforter into a plush cotton duvet cover to make it appear really plump and inviting.
- Add chunky knit blankets to the bed (either as a blanket for warmth or thrown across the bottom of the bed as a throw).
- Add a textured rug to the floor such as a lush sheepskin or a fun tufted rug.
- Add a mirror behind your table lamp to add a warm glow around your whole bedroom.
- Candles give a lovely warmth and coziness to a bedroom, I prefer to use the flameless variety for safety reasons.
- Fairy lights can also make a bedroom cozy, they can also add a different vibe from dreamy to boho depending on the lights.
- Adding a touch of nature with some plants also helps to add that cozy feeling to a bedroom.
